Springbok and Cheetahs star Heinrich Brüssow will miss the rest of the season after injuring himself in the dying minutes of the Cheetahs' victory over the Hurricanes in Bloem on Saturday.
The hard–running flanker tore knee ligaments and will be out for eight months.
That's a big blow for the Boks and especially for the Cheetahs, Brüssow has been immense for them thus far in the Super 14.
