FHM.com and FHM Mobile are operated by UpperCase Media (UCM). Your use of these Sites is subject to the following Terms of Use, which you are deemed to accept by using the Sites.

Content Rights

The copyright and all other rights in the material on these Sites are owned by UCM or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights. As a visitor to these Sites, you may download a single copy of the material for your own private viewing purposes only. No copying or distribution for any commercial or business use is permitted without our prior written consent.

In addition, you may not include a link to our Sites or display the contents of our Sites surrounded or framed or otherwise surrounded by material not originating from us without our consent.

By submitting material to these Sites, you warrant that you own the copyright or that you have the permission of the owner, and have the permission of the subjects in the pictures. You acknowledge that we are not under any obligation whatsoever to use any of the material. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you hereby grant to us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, world-wide, non-exclusive Licence to use, amend, crop, adapt, modify and exploit any such material for any purpose which we may, at our sole discretion, see fit. While UCM takes every care to ensure that the information on these Sites is accurate and complete, some of it is supplied to UCM by third parties and UCM is unable to check its accuracy or completeness. FHM Competition Terms and Conditions

These rules apply to all prize promotions including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers.

  1. Unless stated otherwise, the Promoter is UCM.
  2. Entrants must be over 18 and resident in South Africa. Employees/families/agents of the Promoter and its associates are not eligible.
  3. No purchase is necessary.
  4. Details of winner can be requested in writing.
  5. Prize is subject to availability/may be substituted. No cash alternative/prize is non-refundable/non-transferable.
  6. The promoter accepts no liability for lost/damaged/incomplete entries. Proof of entry is not proof of delivery.
  7. The winner may need to sign statement of eligibility/liability/publicity release.
  8. Third party's Terms and conditions may apply.
  9. Details of entries will be kept on a database and may be used and passed to third parties to enable the processing of Competition/prize fulfilment/where entrant has consented to share this information with other companies for marketing.
  10. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss in connection with the Competition.

FHM Mobile Terms and Conditions

When accessing FHM Mobile standard network charges apply. Your handset must be WAP enabled. You may incur additional WAP and GPRS charges from your network operator according to your contract. FHM Mobile (off portal) is not a subscription service.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: FHM MODELS 2010

  1. ELIGIBILITY
    1. All entrants must be female and aged 18 years or older.
    2. All entrants must be South African citizens. Being born in a foreign country is not grounds for refusal for entry, nor is working abroad, but in both cases, the entrant must hold a valid South African citizenship.
    3. There is no upper age limit for entry.
  2. BEHAVIOUR
    1. FHM Models are expected to adhere to the FHM brand ethos and conduct themselves accordingly. Failure to adhere to acceptable levels of decorum and behaviour (determined solely by FHM) may result in disqualification.
    2. FHM Models are expected to conduct themselves fairly and in good faith in their dealings with their Fans, FHM and other contestants. Failure to do so, at FHM's discretion, may result in disqualification.
    3. FHM Models are not to incite rude, disrespectful, violent or otherwise inappropriate behaviour among their fans, nor to encourage their fans to display any inappropriate behaviour towards other competitors. Any FHM Model who has been found contravening these terms, by inciting negative comments, posts, emails, Facebook, Twitter or other messages towards a competitor will be disqualified.
  3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    1. FHM reserves the right to utilise without reparation to any parties any photograph, video or other material submitted by a contestant for promotion of the competition, digital distribution (paid or unpaid) or inclusion in any printed or other product.
    2. FHM reserves the right to moderate comments and pictures submitted by both contestants and the general public.
    3. FHM reserves the right to promote the competition as it sees fit, using whatever resources at its disposal.
  4. EVENTS
    1. While FHM Models are permitted to organise voting drives, parties and events to attract support, raise awareness and otherwise entice votes, neither FHM Models nor their fans, managers or members of the general public may position these events as being sanctioned, endorsed, supported or affiliated with FHM. Under no conditions may any party or event hosted by anyone other than an official FHM staff member or authorised agency be position or implied to be an official FHM event.
    2. Neither FHM Models, fans or the general public may make use of the FHM Models or the FHM brand for any event purposes where a profit motive is the primary driver.
    3. The FHM brand may not be used by any business for the purpose of generating revenue.
  5. VOTING
    1. FHM Models, fans and the general public may not make use of any third party application, autoclicker, script or hack that automates in any way the voting process. Violation of this condition will result in immediate expulsion from the FHM community of all affected parties.
    2. The final winner of FHM Models and the Top 10 finalists will be determined by a editorial weighting of total web votes, total SMS votes, unique web votes, unique SMS votes and Fans.
    3. No correspondence will be entered into at either the winner or Top 10 phase.
